In January 2015 HighSpeedDirt was born as a Facebook Group for MTB ride meet-ups in Pittsburgh, PA. There were 15 group members when we began. Each year since, the group has grown through word of mouth and meeting riders on the trails. At the end of 2022 HSD now has over 3,000 members and has become the largest and most active MTB Ride Group in Western Pennsylvania.

HSD MTB has become a big part of the Western Pennsylvania MTB community by connecting riders of all ages and skill levels, supporting our local trails, and giving back to the community. We host hundreds of group rides each year and raise thousands of dollars for local charities annually as well.
